STORY
BEFORE
In the year 2078, the world as we know it destroyed itself. It was not because of the nuclear holocaust or apocalypse. War was between the world’s seven continents where west Europe triumphed, specifically the Nordics. It was said that their cunning, berserker instinct, unity, brotherhood, and strategy had given them the edge over others. There were massive technological advancements in those times, where the whole cities could levitate into the skies, and people lived their lives in the clouds. These gigantic cities were shot down, sabotaged, or eradicated in the war, leaving only the machinery intact on these floating Islands. In the end, what finally killed the rest of the remaining Nordics was internal battles and a lack of resources that had been destroyed over the last 20 years left of humans.
What remained were stories of strong Vikings who were looked up to in war times, how Nordics came to be the strongest, talks about different abilities they had from other houses, and modifications of body and souls in that high-tech time.
AFTER
Two hundred and fifty-thousands years later, the world has recovered and changed drastically; the sun has become colder and slower in the atmosphere. The night has grown longer, and you can only catch three hours of sunlight in the world where the sun shines brightest. While in other places in the world is what has become to be known as the deep pitch black. With these changes, there have only been very few animals that lived from the older ages. They have evolved into darker creatures to be able to live in these harsh environments. Many of them doubled or tripled in size. It is not known yet why most animals have gained remarkable abilities; it could be because of evolution, change of climate, or leftover experiments after 2078. But one thing is known, the earth is way darker, crueler, and more alive than ever; all the old cities on the ground have been eradicated, a few secret places might hold some history, and the most un-intact reminders of lost civilizations are still floating in the skies, where the islands hold broken cities and rusted scraps. What has re-appeared and re-evolved, more robust are new species of humans; they have adapted to the evolution but no longer are the top predators in the food chain and are long away from arriving there. In the next seven thousand years, they will evolve further, but not as you might imagine.
